Homopolymer Acetal or Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a lathe lathe. It is pretty easy to turn, although it does require reduced speeds. I have used this stuff to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have purchased numerous items from a plastic shop in Anaheim. The smaller pieces usually ship quickly and everything is always well packed. I’ve never had a problem with an order.
